Evolving Perceptions of Immigration: Evidence from Two Rounds of New Jersey Polling
This report, authored by 淫性视频 Professor of Economics Ramya Vijaya and
淫性视频 economics student Alicja Schleyer, examines how New Jersey voters鈥 attitudes
toward immigration shifted between 2024 and 2026. Drawing on two statewide polls conducted
by the Hughes Center for Public Policy, the study explores how factors including age,
race, gender, and education shape views on immigration. It also examines the relationship
between greater diversity in respondents鈥 counties of residence and more favorable
attitudes toward immigration.
Psilocybin-Assisted Therapy for Mental Health Treatment: Effectiveness, Safety and Public Support for Legalization in the State of New Jersey
This research was conducted by Professor of Psychology Dr. Justin Ostrofsky and his
team of student researchers, Shayla Nagle, Morgan Seidman, and Katherine Wilkinson.
Dr. Ostrofsky led this team and completed this work as a Faculty Associate/Fellow
for the Hughes Public Policy Center in 2023-2024. In addition to examining existing
clinical studies to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of using psilocybin to treat
mental health disorders, they also analyzed the results of an original 淫性视频 Center
poll of more than 600 New Jersey residents to gauge public support for legalizing

Mental Health and Mental Health Treatment in New Jersey During the COVID-19 Pandemic
The COVID-19 pandemic had wide-ranging impacts on New Jersey residents鈥 mental health,
treatment and outcomes involving numerous mental health issues, according to research
published by the William J. Hughes Center for Public Policy at 淫性视频.
The project, led by Professor of Psychology Justin Ostrofsky, Ph.D., overseeing three
student researchers, investigated how New Jersey residents with specific mental health
issues fared during the pandemic and whether COVID-19 worsened those problems. The
researchers, working over two college semesters, analyzed public datasets, published
research and the results of an original 淫性视频 Poll. Dr. Ostrofsky completed
this research as a Faculty Fellow/Associate for the Hughes Public Policy Center in
