Tenure Upon Hire

Faculty Plan

Tenure-track faculty and faculty librarians are required to submit a Faculty Plan in their year 1, 3, and 5 spring file submissions. NTTP, part-time, and XIII-D/O faculty cannot be required to submit a plan. The Faculty Plan is designed to be a developmental tool that will assist faculty in understanding the requirements to meet tenure and promotion standards by year 6. The Faculty Plan is a developmental tool and can be updated or modified by the faculty at any point. The plan does not require approval but will be acknowledged by the dean in the feedback review form. The plan should be brief (approximately 3 pages) and must follow the template provided on page 17 of the MOA.
